Natural Secrets to Beautiful Eyes

If it is true that eyes are the windows to the soul, then there can be little doubt that the natural beauty of a pair of sparkling eyes can be a real asset. But you don't need expensive facial treatments. All you need to do is allow nature to let your true beauty shine through. These simple steps and homemade remedies will be all you need.

1. Start from within

Improve your general eye health. Include more fish and green vegetables in your diet, and cut down on white flour and sugar. Researchers at Tufts University in Boston found that so-called “bad carbs” like refined sugar and flour can raise the risk of poor eye health in later years. On the other hand, fish oils and antioxidants can keep them sparkling.

2. Deal with those dark circles

If they are caused by late nights and too much coffee, you need to change your habits, for the sake of your eyes. Get some more sleep (they don't call it “beauty sleep” for nothing!) and switch to herbal teas. Bilberry was used by British and US pilots in WWII to improve night vision and has long been recognized as beneficial for eyes. Chamomile tea will help you sleep, and the cooled tea bags can be used as relaxing eye compresses.

3. Open up the eye area

Use light and luminous eye makeup that will make the whole eye area become lighter and brighter to show off your eye color. Keep your brows groomed and healthy, whether you prefer them thick or thin. Your eyes should be magnetic and draw attention.

4. Homemade remedies

After a night out, or long session at the computer, cooled chamomile tea bags or slices of cucumber laid over your eyes will help reduce puffiness. If you are worried about lines and wrinkles, egg white will tighten the skin around the eyes.

5. Incorporate simple eye exercises into your beauty routine

You can do these at any time, although you may want to refrain from doing eye exercises on the train as they look a bit odd. The exercises strengthen the eyes and help with the burning and itching of “computer eyes”.

Just look up, and then down, right and then left and roll your eyes. You need to do each movement around ten times, looking as far as you can in one direction.

6. Protect your eyes in strong sunlight

Sunglasses are not just from hiding from the paparazzi. Get the best sunglasses you can afford and make sure they wrap around the sides of your eyes. UV rays will damage your unprotected eyes and give you lines that have nothing to do with smiling. Protect your skin and eyes from the sun and you will not need expensive creams or surgery in the future.

The last tip is attributed to Audrey Hepburn, whose eyes were legendary: "for beautiful eyes, look for the good in others." Attitude that counts for a lot smile lines are better than frown lines, eyes that shine with hope and compassion will always be beautiful.

Six Simple Tips to Treat Under-Eye Bags

Millions of people suffer from puffy bags or dark circles under their eyes, which can make a person look older, tired, or ill.

They may be caused by everything from lack of sleep to allergies, or even a poor diet. Below are some tried and true tips, both long and short term, for reducing the appearance of these unsightly under-eye bags and circles.

Stay Hydrated

One of the primary causes of puffiness under the eyes is salt retention. Eating salty foods, crying, or drinking beverages such as coffee or alcohol can all cause salt water to collect beneath the eyes. The best way to combat these symptoms is to increase water consumption throughout the day, which has plenty of other health benefits as well.

Try to drink eight glasses of water each day.

Apply Something Cold

Many people have probably heard of using chilled cucumber slices, spoons, teabags, and more as a quick cure for under-eye bags and circles. The important part is that they are cold--almost anything will work.

The cool temperature restricts blood vessels beneath the eyes, which reduces swelling and stops the blood from pooling and creating dark circles.

Treat Any Allergies or Congestion

Seasonal allergies, colds, and sinus congestion can aggravate blood vessels around the eyes and nose, in addition to causing redness, swelling, or fluid buildup. Allergies should be treated with medication, either over the counter or prescription, and congested sinuses can be cleared by using a neti pot.

Change Your Sleeping Habits

People that sleep on their stomach or sides may find themselves more prone to puffiness or bags due to blood and other fluids collecting beneath the eyes during the night.  Sleeping on your back, preferably with an extra pillow, can significantly reduce the appearance of these blemishes by allowing fluids to drain while sleeping. In addition, make an effort to get at least seven or eight hours of uninterrupted sleep each night.

Take Care of Your Skin

The skin around your eyes and nose is fairly thin, so it is important to keep it from being damaged or weakened. Avoid sleeping in makeup, which can irritate the skin.

Use moisturizes to improve skin elasticity, and apply sunscreen--or wear sunglasses--when appropriate, as UV rays can thin out the skin even more.

Make Dietary Changes

Eating a more balanced and healthy diet can make a very large difference when it comes to treating under-eye bags or rings. Certain vitamins, such as C, E, and K, along with iron and folic acid, can improve the appearance of these blemishes. This means eating more leafy green vegetables and a variety of fruits, especially citrus and berries. Cutting out sodium-heavy foods can also help reduce salt retention.

For anyone suffering from dark rings or bags beneath their eyes, the above strategies may be all that is necessary to reduce or eliminate them once and for all. If nothing seems to work, consider speaking with a physician to determine if there is not some more serious cause behind it, or whether the issue may be hereditary.

1 week to younger looking skin - Anti-aging and Rejuvenating skin-care

Sounds incredible to have younger looking skin in 1 week!  In a long run, a proper beauty and health maintenance is the only way to turn back the time and reverse the aging process.  Taking anti-aging nutrients externally to your skin and living a healthy lifestyle create an instant effect to restore the glow and radiance to your skin.
I call it miracle magic serum.  This Time Revolution Night Repair Science Activator Ampoule from Missha really surprises me!  It strengthens my skin’s original power for a prompt improvement of skin’s conditions.   The lactic acid fermented ingredients, Bifida, Lactobacillus and Lactococcus, are DNA repairing agents, eliminating accumulated cell damages and fortifying new cells to reveal younger and fresher skin. I start incorporating this ampoule into my night beauty routine to stimulate skin’s natural healing system during sleep.  My skin feels reborn in the morning!

After the ampoule is deeply absorbed, applying the face cream with different kinds of anti-aging nutrients for a diverse collection of anti-aging properties.  I choose High Concentrate Coenzyme Q10 Moisture Cream which contains an effective dose of CoQ 10 protecting collagen and elastin from free radicals and resulting in an outstanding face lifting.  In the morning, I integrate this cream with sunscreen for a better sun protection.  CoQ10 helps neutralize skin oxidation caused by UV rays.

For a weekly intensive facial treatment, EVE LOM Rescue Mask is my favorite!  All the naturally occurring minerals work the best to draw out the impurities from skin and meanwhile to soothe sensitive, dry and reddish skin.  One of specialties of this mask is that it wakes up your tired eyes.  Just use it as a normal wash-off eye mask.  One of the active ingredients, Camphor, stimulates blood circulation, eliminating dark circles and bags under your eyes.  For the best rejuvenating result, having a regular deep clean enhances the skin’s absorption of nutrients and thereby anti-aging nutrients can permeate much effectively into clean skin.
Take charge of your skin’s age!  Age is nothing but a number.  As long as you aspire to maintain your beauty and health, you can be an ageless beauty.  Not forgetting, anti-aging nutrients need to be taken externally and internally.
